2023 Rat Horoscope

The Rabbit 'damages' the Rat in 2023, but does that mean Rats will have a bad year? In this video we look at how 2023's Yin Water Rabbit affects you if you were born in the year of the Rat.

Rat's were born in - 1936, 1948, 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996, 2008 and 2020.

Top Tips for the Rat in 2023 -

1. Reduce the time you spend with people that act superior or try to put you down, you’re a better person than they give you credit for.
2. Check the East and avoid using doors or opening windows in this direction, especially the central mini-sector.
3. Create connections with younger and older people that appreciate your talents. You may have some problems with people of your own generation.
4. Wear a Dragon pendant or charm to reduce the negative effects of the Rabbit. The Dragon is preferred to the Rooster, since Roosters clash with the Rabbit in 2023.
5. Go and find out your complete chart here, then watch the Animal Sign video that appears in your Month, Day and Hour Pillars. The energy of your Month will mainly affect parents, siblings and career. Your Day affects your spouse and home life, while the Hour represents your children.

The Rat in 2023

Rabbits aren’t entirely civil to Rats, and vice-versa. In 2023 the Rat will find themselves at times spoken to and treated poorly, most surprisingly by people that you love the most. It will be more a case of who has the upper hand in your relationships, but you can decide to not engage in the behaviour. Rats that choose the higher ground during a Rabbit year can expect to ‘win’ in the long run, but you will be on the losing side if you try playing people at their own game.

Love and Personal Life
Moving away from the Water frame years (2019-2021) has weakened Rat’s romantic outlook, even though the Rabbit brings a longing for connection. People will find you fascinating and want to be around you, but that open-hearted link will remain elusive. The most supportive relationships for Rats in 2023 come from children and younger people, and can include your siblings if you disengage from any rivalry.

Career and Money
Last year I urged Rat’s to connect with people to improve your career chances. In 2023, you will see those connections bring rewards, and it’s never too late to build more relationships with mentors and juniors alike. If you ask for assistance you will receive it, but remember to show your gratitude even if it’s not quite the help you were looking for.
